• Strategy:
First, rescue Ross with Vanessa and make someone “take” him and “drop” him, also heal him with Moulder. Do the same the next turn with Garcia. Ross will join you if you talk to him with Eirika, and Garcia if you talk to him with Ross.
This is another easy chapter, just don’t let Ross open for an attack because he is weak, try to attack with his hatchet so he can level up, because he will become very strong after some levels (though, he isn't necessary and is more productive to use the other characters). 2 bandits will appear at the red squares. Also, buy some weapons in the Armory.
